Any 30+ year old engine originally built for leaded gas should use non-oxygenated gas, that’s a big difference than just 91 octane. I wish this site would list them separately

Bought non-oxy today - pleased they have separate hoses for the different grades. Makes a big difference on a bike with smaller tank.

Just purchased the "v-max" non-oxygenated gas here. The attendant said it's ethanol free and the sticker on the pump says it's ideal for "collectors... Motorcycles...". First time I've filled up with ethanol free since I bought the 1980 CM400. We'll see if I can tell the difference.

I bought non-oxy here in April 2014 (at least the sticker was still on the pump on the Riverside side) and my throttle response is as normal... it goes way down with 10%
