The card reader either doesn’t work or wasn’t turnedon. The clerk inside was difficult to understand and couldn’t understand me. “Your card reader is turned off.” “How much you want?” “Umm, twelve dollars worth?” “Tweleve?” “Yes.” “Which pump?” (They have two pumps. I was the only customer. My truck was plainly visible. He didn’t turn his head.) “Pump one” “Which?” “One.” “Tweleve dollas?” “Yes.” “Pump one?” “Yes.” “Tweleve?” “Diesel?” “I’ll go somewhere else.”

All 3 grades are still ethanol-free. I see a lot German cars filling up here. Closed on Sunday.

In and out with no waiting, four pumps. Yes it appears an Indian family runs this little station. I asked about the gas and yes the attendant confirmed "no filler - no ethanol" in all three grades of gas. Yes this could be considered "the hood" however as anywhere watch yourself and be careful - it is basically downtown Jackson, MS. The folks inside were very nice and polite. 87 was $3.459 gallon.

I hit this station every few days on my lunch break. No problems. 93 octane, $3.99/gal, so no waiting to get to the pump.

Topped off with 93 @ $3.89/gal. Vroom, in and out since traffic down due to a detour for road repairs.

Went there yesterday, and have two updates: They''re no longer open on Sundays. The construction on Jefferson St. has moved south of the station and both lanes are now open.

I've been there a couple times in the last month, and didn't have any fear from the location. Besides, with hours of 6AM-6PM M-F, 8AM-2PM Sat, and 8AM-12PM Sun, I don't think you'll be running into many thugs. Hadn't been there before, but it appears that an Indian family now owns it and intend to make a go of it because both times I've seen them doing various fix-up jobs. I intend to keep going there because it's the closest 93 octane. (Cappy's in Ridgeland has 90.) It's a little incovenient to reach from I-55 right now because the south-bound lane of Jefferson off Pearl is closed at this time. Keep going west and circle around Hal & Mals and south to South St, then back east to the station.

This station does sell ethanol free gas only but buyer beware it is located in a high crime area (da hood). Let me put it this way a couple years ago I was gonna swing in there to fill up but I decided not to stop when I saw 3 or 4 cars on 22 inch chrome rims and some thugs with gold teeth throwing dice up against the building.
